I never really made a connection of the two. I like David Gray. I was addicted to that White Ladder record because I do like a good pop record with some meet on it. And that he followed it up with that New Day at Midnight record which was really a not so very cheery record. I'm sure the record company folks loved that. Still, I prefer David. By a country mile or ten.
