Just when Bill's writing staff seems dead in the water, he comes back with this. Dead on, but man-- the man from Kenya--silly me for giving money to a politician. Not that I'll have any to give him or anyone ever again but still. I am vowing to only pay half as much attention to our national meltdown for the rest of the week. My brain and heart do not have the energy or heart for it. I always think I'm too smart to care about my country--to not get that the glass is not only half empty, it's not my glass either. Still, my job--the jobs of people I know and love and people I see each and every day--the retirements of everyone I know--well--I'll not go on.

Wednesday is another day on earth and how lucky is that?
