How strange. I can honestly sit here and comment before today I could not recall hearing Amy Winehouse. I avoided her music because I thought she was just some sort of sideshow celebrity. I never knew how great of a singer she was until she died until one of the celebrity news sites posted a link to her singing the song Valarie. How sad. And it's a pretty goddamned shame we live in a world where leeches and scumbags survive off of the bones and flesh of talented people and suck them dry instead of doing all they can do to get them some help. Yes, I realize that some people resist about all help that is humanely possible to provide, but still, we must try, try and keep trying.
