I find something very disheartening and dreary about facebook and tweeter. I think it's great maybe if
you're intensely busy and don't have the time to show 40 people the newest photo of your Lhasa apso,
but I think it's largely a false economy of keeping in contact with people. Maybe if you're an artist like
David it's a good tool to get to people, to let folks know that you'll be performing or that you have
something to share but in general, likes and friends and tweets just make me think it's people keeping
others at a real distance--and these are the people they know. Actually know. I don't know. Maybe I'm wrong, but it's just nothing I ever want to do. It makes me want to go outside.
Which is what I'm going to do right now.
