See Smorley, I'm interested in your opinion, but you haven't given me anything to go on. You can say crap is crap is crap about anything--church, evolution, particle physics, keynesian economics, popular music, unpopular music . . . the conversation does not go anywhere with such statements.

What, specifically, do you feel is crap in the video linked above?

Do you feel that America should continue with its current, IMO disastrous, foreign policy? If so, why? If not, for whom would you vote?

Do you feel that America should continue to support a central banking system (Federal Reserve) that lends itself so readily to crony capitalism? If so, why? If not, for whom would you vote?

Do you feel that the American government should continue to borrow mightily from other countries, notably China, spend far more than it takes in, and attempt to police the world on this moon-high borrowed stack of dimes? If so, why? If not, for whom would you vote?

I am making a genuine attempt to understand why this man's arguments seem (to some) so easy to discard--but in order for me to see that, respondents would have to actually deal with the arguments put forth. My mind isn't settled, but as I've said before on this forum, I find this guy a lot more compelling than practically anybody we've seen running for the oval office in decades.

And make no mistake, I have my own criticisms of the video, but I wanted to at least attempt to engage interested parties in discussion.
