I relished the Broncos' pathetic exit from the playoffs tonight. Mick would have been proud of the thrashing done by his beloved Patriots. During the game, a relative mentioned admiringly that Tim's parents were missionaries. I replied that what is a missionary but someone who travels a long distance to your house in order to inform you that your religious/worldview is wrong and that if you don't change, you're doomed to eternal damnation. Screw missionaries, and anyone who looks favorably on their efforts. The Tebow phenomenon is further evidence of a country in decline. Millions of children die annually from malnutrition, but God (assuming there is one, I cannot say either way) instead has a rooting interest in a football game. It's understandable how nations have felt that God was on their side.
