It's in a much different vein, but I saw John Hiatt and Lyle Lovett share a stage last night with nothing but 2 acoustic guitars (and a surprise performance from Francine Reed, who has performed with Lovett for over 20 years). Stripped down to just the guitar and the voice, the songs these two have written are nothing short of incredible.If their tour comes near you, check it out. Very entertaining and it renews one's faith in the singer-songwriter.
