Had what for me was a pretty surreal experience this evening... standing on a stunning cruiser going down the Hudson River, Manhattan on my left and Jersey on the right, going under the George Washington Bridge, while Springsteen is playing on the boat's sound system. Never in a million years would I have thought.

Saw One World Trade Center up close on Tuesday morning when we went to the 9/11 memorial, which was an incredibly emotional experience, but seeing it tonight, from the water, lit up and standing so much taller than all the other buildings, was something else to see... The last couple of days have been a blur but incredible...

And we saw lady Liberty for the first time. Cliched as it may or may not be, it was amazing...
