as all this DVD watching has depleted my vitamin D level. Anyway, here's an absolute gem and a dud:City of Life and Death: This truly epic Chinese film portrays the rape of Nanking. Gut wrenching and
magnificent! What is it in the Japanese psyche that prevents them from admitting the horrors that
their military inflicted in WWII? Jeff Who Lives At Home: Jason Segel is a sweet guy with absolutely no direction. Sadly, the film has
even less of one. Half-baked doesn't even come close to how much this one lacks. I'm sure others will
