Interpretations of Biden's remarks are exactly why citizens in the country can't have adult discussions about politics, race and our problems.Biden's response had nothing, absolutely nothing to do with race.It was a response to Republicans claiming a desire to "unshackle" business and Wall Street from Obama and his policies. He was not trying to scare blacks into thinking they would be put back in chains; he was referring to if Republicans had their way, the American people would find themselves back in the chains/shackles of big business/banks.
