I don't know Reg. I do think the writing is on the wall at least for the Tea Party wing of the republican party - although Michelle Bachman is still around. I also think the electoral numbers are not in favor of the republican party now or in the foreseeable future. And lastly, I think the trend of the relatively shrinking male white vote all spell at least a little doom for the red set. BUT. I'm not convinced this was their final curtain call. Romney was a terrible candidate and he would have been a terrible President/statesman. But you and I both know that had the republicans fielded someone with a little more human-ness it easily could have gone the other way. Personality goes a long way.
