While I applaud the passing of the diluted ahc the true power in the plan resides in the ability to purchase health care insurance from the government for a much lower premium forcing the insurance companies to match premiums. I find it proposterous that big insurance continues to cry broke while spending millions on advertising. We have the same problem with Florida Power & Light. There are daily commercials played that tell us how hard they're working to harden the electrical grid. When stimulus $ became available for shovel ready projects FPL grabbed a handful and proceeded to set new power poles next to the old poles. Funny thing. This only happened where the pole location was convenenient and after 2 years they still haven't moved the wires over to the new poles and pulled the old poles out. If a storm blows the old pole down it's going to take the new pole with it. But I do have to say when 60 Minutes checked on the slow going of restoring power in the NE due to Sandy, it was FPL guys in NY they interviewed. Hmmmmm. The New American Dream. Lie, Lie, Lie.
