They blow away the "band" I played with in my friend's bedroom during 77-78. We were listening
to a lot of Ramones and the first Clash album for inspiration. I mean, we sucked in a major
league way; David's group was like The Beatles compared to us. It was seriously god-awful shit
that emanated from my friend Jay's bedroom. My contribution in no way resembled drumming.
But it was fun as hell. We embraced the DIY ethos, and that's all that mattered. And did I mention
that we sucked? I think my stage name was Peter Vomit, and we sucked!
