For the literary inclined with a pendant for Sci-Fi/Fantasy I recommend both Frank Herbert's well known Dune series, Julian May's lesser known Galactic milieu series and Dan Simmons Hyperion/Endymion series. All of these series draws heavily from the works of Teilhard de Chardin and are great reads on their own. Even some of the later works of Arthur C Clarke has traces of Teilhard.
