Your mentioning Belfast and Texas made me think of the Belfast Cowboy...Van Morrison.

My mental state is not all that bad just a bit convoluted and...wistful at times you could say. I have to think that everybody has times when they look backwards at their life and or the world. I don't think it is a bad thing but as you can tell from my musical selections I was not really looking "forward" with them.

Those old songs just felt right and have been playing as a sort of soundtrack for what I've been writing about...so...they have some specific and vague meaning at this point. Not on the nose but certainly indicating a direction.

I think Ally probably got a lot on her plate and will find plenty to occupy her starting college. You and Mrs. T (ever think of getting a mohawk and making everybody call you Mr. T?) will likely settle in and find all kinds of things to do with your extra time.

I have not seen Amour or Mud yet but both have been highly recommended to me. I don't think I'm in the mood for Amour at the moment but I will probably check out Mud soon. Everybody tells me Mud is one of the best films they have seen in some time and that has me pretty curious.
