I too remember the time when there would be a having a DBIS meet and greet every year or so. But the
wide range of countries involved it logistically it was too hard. Not just to see and hope David would play, but to meet so many of the people EEE described so well.
The people we shared stories of joy and sadness all sorts of intensely personal stories. I'm still in
regular contact with most of the 15-20 regulars who found his site in it's infancy.
