When it's snowing, really snowing (as it is tonight), and really cold (it's 4 degrees and falling) I often turn to New England's late, great singer/songwriter, Bill Morrissey. Robert Christgau really nailed it when he said that Bill's great theme was how much men need to work and how much they'd rather be doing something else.
