Just can't warm to Tom Verlaine's voice, Dan. Haven't seen Dan Bern, but thanks to Ed, I've been
fortunate enough to get to know, and really like, his stuff. I would have thought that Bern, in
person, would be an even more enjoyable experience. Still, my wife and daughter don't get it
when I play and praise Dan Bern. Of course, they've never really understood my affinity for punk,
dismissing it as a "guy thing". What does THAT mean? I'm a victim of my gender I tell you!Peter T.
