I really liked them. Tom Verlaine's voice may be an acquired taste but it has that dry punk edge typical
of the era and it fits their music. Try this one: it is a harder to find 1999 re-issue of the album simply
entitled "Television" which came out in 1992. The songs have gripping, sometimes hypnotic melodies,
great rhythm grooves and I love the way their electric guitar sound, straight outta the amp, clean yet
powerful, no overdrives, no gimmicks. Yep, I like Television. Otta be a great show. http://www.amazon.com/Television/dp/B000008LG0/ref=sr_1_3?
