I'm certainly in agreement with him with respect to free speech being an absolute right here. As it should be in France and Denmark (and everywhere) with cartoons. I posted a few days ago that the shutting down of speech on college campuses is repugnant. I'm not sure how many of my fellow liberals (yes, I'm not afraid to use the "L" word) would differ from me. Condell acts as if this urge to restrict the free exchange of ideas is widespread among those on the left. I haven't seen any polls so I don't know.

On a different subject, Condell is an avowed atheist. Does your hero worship extend to that position as well?
