I was so fortunate to meet Kyle on this message board. During those all too frequent occasions when things
got acrimonious, and sometimes downright insulting here, Kyle could be counted upon to get things back to
what brought us here, and what unites us: our shared passion for music. What a terrific ambassador for
Canada. And he really did add "eh" to his sentences! His sweet, sane, and insightful thoughts can be read in
those hundreds of messages that are archived here. Dan's gift of this site will allow his beloved mom, Val,
sister, Bailey, and nephew, Jackson, the ability to read Kyle's thoughts on Lindsey Buckingham, movies,
sports, and whatever else was "in the air" here on a given day. What a lovely gift! Since Christmas I had two long chats with Kyle. Those conversations, like so many others that we had, gave
me a good picture of the man. I remember tales of his following Blue Rodeo across Canada, the thrill of
meeting up with Mr. Baerwald during the NFU tour, his attempt to explain to me the intricacies of curling, his
love for wayward cats, and a thousand and one record and movie recommendations. But mostly I'll remember
the loving way that he spoke of his devoted family. I'm a better person for having known Kyle. Thanks, Kyle,
you're indomitable! Peter T.
