Very sad news indeed. I shall miss him. We stayed in touch frequently over the years mainly about music, but also we shared a lot about his health and some personal issues. He wanted I don't know how seriously to do a road trip together from BC down into Washington and try to make it to California. I only chatted with him once during one of his unfortunately too numerous hospitalizations a few years back, and promised we would hang " next time" I was in Vancouver. At this late stage of my life, now more than ever I realize the need to act as soon as possible on any good intention. Tomorrow just doesn't cut it anymore. I feel greatly for his devoted family and some of his close friends who have become friends of mine as well. Rest easy buddy.
