Some of what they classify as lies in that video I would more call broken
promises or intentions and some of what he promised may have been what he
would have liked to have happened but he unfortunately made promises in
some cases that were really for other people to keep but they did
not...meaning, sure, he probably should not have promised those things
because he was really making a promise for somebody else. Obama has nearly completed his term and I would say he did OK based on
the point where he had to take the reins and what a disaster things were.
He at least did not steer us into more or deeper trouble for the most
part. I think you could describe things as he took over with a patient in
critical condition and mostly stabilized the patient...while the patient
is certainly not out of the woods yet. So, Obama will soon be behind us and I do think the next president will
be taking over a better situation and because of this will have more of
an opportunity to move things in a better direction. Personally, it seems pretty clear to me that the two leading candidates
should be Sanders and Kasich. However, our two leading candidates are
Clinton and Trump...which seems like a nightmare scenario that our media
has totally pushed for.I mean I imagine a Sanders/Kasich debate would be thoughtful and actually
concern things we need to address to improve the country. It actually
would be worthwhile to watch and I think people would get something out
of it. Plus it would not be an embarrassment for the world to watch those
two guys discuss becoming the next president of the United States. The Donald and Hillary show though will be like having to bath in and
drink raw sewerage. Sure, it's probably great for the media but wow, I
mean that's just shameful for our country. How these two people are even
in the position they are in is just crazy. Trump has an active fraud case
against him, of which he is completely guilty, where he bilked 10,000
people out of $40 million...showing he is the definition of conman.
Hillary is under Federal investigation for going out of her way to
knowingly set up a situation where she could hide and destroy government
communications even after being told she could not and that it was
illegal and a major risk to national security and then proceeded to
destroy evidence in an effort to cover up what she had done. She may only
have committed what the government calls a misdemeanor but the crime also
carries the sentence that you may no longer hold public office...so, she
knowingly committed a crime that disqualifies her from ever holding
public office again. She can't be president. Why would anybody want these people on their ticket for POTUS?I will at least give the RNC credit for actively being open about the
fact that they can't stand Trump (or Cruz) but the DNC has fully embraced
Clinton. That's just outrageous. Are you as baffled at this as I am, Dale?
