Well, I try to be fair and address the reality of a situation. I am
probably seen as, and really rightly so, a biased observer when it comes
to the Clintons. People know I am not a fan of theirs, I did not vote for
Bill and will not vote for Hillary. They represent the sort of people I
feel we don't want in government and I think it would be a major mistake
to elect Hillary Clinton.
However, the DNC and the RNC and the Koch brothers, and the media,
and
all the major players and big money seem to agree Hillary should be our
next president. She truly has united all of the major forces and
influences in this election cycle...except for one little group that
seems not to count for much...the people. Yes, the actual citizens of the
United States. They mostly don't care for her. They know she is a bad
option. They know it will be yet another race where we decide which foot
to shoot ourselves in. Where intelligent people will sit around a table
and discuss the fact that "We have to vote for Hillary because she will
appoint more favorable Supreme Court Judges than any Republican."
This is the single reason people will come up with to elect her in
this
abomination we call our electoral process...that we pretend is a
democracy.
The Republicans have absolutely acquiesced. They have accepted her as
the
Republican candidate and have done all they can to sink the guys on their
own ticket. She is the most Republican candidate in the race, no
question, but she is also damaged goods and provides an easy target for
the Republicans. So, in many ways she is a win-win for them. When have
you in your lifetime, Marc, seen and heard the Republicans calling the
candidates on their own ticket Hitler, Lucifer, fascists, and claiming
they would rather take cyanide than support any of them? Saying things
like you could kill these guys and nobody would convict you? They don't
just dislike Ted Cruz and Donald Trump...they hate them with a violent
passion. And we're not talking about Tea Party nutjobs here...this is the
RNC and Republican establishment saying these things.
Seriously, how much more insane can this get?
People claim to have wanted Democrats and Republicans to come
together in
Washington? Well, never have they been more united on who should be our
next president. Seriously, there is only one candidate in the race and
she represents both parties. Democrats and Republicans rejoice! You are
now all on the same team!
I'm not spouting some nutty conspiracy theory here...this is
happening
right before our eyes, right out in the open, and the media is just
breathlessly reveling in it and joyously going along for the ride...which
is a wonderful ride when these two parties spend $5 billion a year with
the media on advertising. Citizens United indeed! We can all join hands
and sing songs together now because finally we are all just one big team.
We are the Hillary Victory team!
Might I suggest that the sing-along begin with Pink Floyd's Money?
If it is not blatantly obvious to people at this point that there is
something very strange and horribly wrong about both parties uniting
behind one of the most compromised and divisive politicians of the last
40 years and one that is under investigation by the FBI to boot--for one
of the dumbest and most arrogant moves a Secretary of State could have
made--I mean keeping state secrets safe is one of the most basic and
simple parts of the goddamn job...then I just don't know what I can say
anymore.
So, right now the only guy that can save us...pull us out of this
bizarre
nightmare we are in where black is white, up is down, and Hillary is the
savior of both Republicans and Democrats...is James Comey, the director
of the FBI. He needs to pass down a recommendation to indict Hillary
Clinton. She broke the law, she is not going to go to jail for it, but an
indictment would do horrible damage to her campaign...or at least it
should. Word is Hillary would want to continue to campaign even under
indictment. This would be insane and really display how dishonest the
media is if they continued to trumpet how wonderful she is while she is
under indictment.
Now even if Comey says the FBI has all the evidence to indict her the
DOJ
and the president will have a say in if that actually happens. Even with
a recommendation from the FBI to prosecute they could refuse to go
through with it. Because she is a major figure in an election cycle there
is a much higher bar for getting the indictment through. Hillary's
campaign has already made up a bunch of nonsense about how this is all
just politically motivated...but the FBI would not be investigating this
long, granting immunity, extraditing people from other countries, if they
were not certain a crime had been committed.
The question is not has a crime been committed, it really is about
how
culpable they find Hillary for these crimes. And this is where it gets
really ridiculous. All the lies Hillary and her people have told on this
and their shifting explanations are actually all about setting up her
defense and you want to know what that defense is?
Believe it or not her defense of this is "I'm a stupid old lady."
Even worse than that...this defense may actually work. They have put
forth the ideas that Hillary could not recognize classified material
unless it was marked and that she, due to her age, is not familiar with
how technology works so she had no way of knowing what she was doing was
wrong. For good measure the third part of her defense is "It wasn't me."
meaning she is blaming others for sending her unmarked classified
material and not stopping her from using a private server and private
email. In other words, somebody else will need to fall on their sword and
go down for this if it comes to prosecuting somebody for these crimes.
So, great she will use the incompetence defense to wriggle out of
this
but still wants us to think she is the best person to be president even
though she is full on admitting she is an idiot.
The truth is it is not that she is an idiot...that's just her way
out...the truth is she believes she is above the law, above the people,
above oversight, and above having to answer to anybody. She literally
believed that while serving as Secretary of State she had the authority
to dictate to the government what they were allowed to see with regards
to her job.
She even screwed Obama with this because the question...though this
will
not be asked on any major media outlet...is was he ever aware that his
Secretary of State was using a private email server for all of her
government communications the entire time she served? The fact that her
using this server meant that all of her records and communications were
not subject to FOIA requests could be considered beneficial to him as
well. It could also be a nightmare for him if he did not know and just
got caught up in her nonsense.
So, here is your issue...like the banks were too big to fail...this
case
could be too big to prosecute. It gets into areas that could implicate
others and I'm sure the Clintons are making people very aware that
Hillary is not going down on this alone and she will take others with her
so somebody better make this go away or fall on their sword.
Now, I'm not saying there is a case against the president here, this
really should stay contained to Hillary, but it does not reflect well on
him and it is a mess that the Clintons will not go down easy for. They
obviously feel they are bigger and more important than the Democratic
party, the government in general, and the country.
The Clintons are truly a plague on our government and our country and
they have been fully embraced by the Democrats and the media.
