The naive part of me has never understood how the pro-life, pro-family values, pro-God party, the Republican Party, didn't feel a sense of moral outrage that healthcare was denied to any American. The realist in me recognizes that they're largely full of shit when it comes to loving thy neighbor, especially when it might impact their wallet, or when their neighbor isn't white. Bigger hypocrites, and more loathsome folks, you can't find! And yes, I recognize there are pockets of reasonable, decent folks in their ranks, but their political power is nil. They've purged themselves of their moderates.
