Ned Landin originally know as Flathead
http://www.nedtv.com/nedtv2/downloads_1.html
I first heard him in Central Park in '90 or '91. Just strolling through the park as this cat with a hand
truck laden with an auto battery, a couple of small speakers and his guitar begins setting up shop just
off the sidewalk. Mostly he was doing covers but he was so passionate, and animated, dancing and
leaping while e.g., playing an acoustic All Along the Watchtower. So I bought a tape: now known as
Flathead One, the Original, which I've long since bought a digital copy of, as well as Flathead Five,
Corner of My Heart. Which I remain pleased to hear, both for the memory and his sound. Some good
songs(a couple great), sprinkled with some fine flights of fancy in his picking'.In addition, I admire his choice, that of a journeyman street singer. Hopefully he writes an
autobiography.I'm given to understand Jackson Brown gave him some studio time in recent years.Btw, if perchance anyone has a copy of Flathead Three, Live, Ned would really appreciate a copy.
peaceably,
