I think Trump doesn't realize the enormous social and financial costs that his children (and all who bear that surname) will incur for years and decades to come. Who will want to deal with this odious crew of big game slaughterers, job exporters, and enablers? Democrats already loathe them and Republicans will be reminded of how the patriarch ushered in Hillary and fractured the party. The Donald will be long dead yet his offspring will wonder why did he do this to us? Whether it's in the boardroom, a chic Manhattan restaurant, or at a summer soiree in the Hamptons, once you hear, "There's a Trump in the house", heads will turn, conversations will cease, and ill-concealed laughter will result. And I'm not just talking insults, I'm talking the hurling of Montblanc pens, the tossing of Louis XIII de Remy Martin Cognac in their faces, and the flat-out refusal to attend little Barron Trump's 16 year old Southern Plantation birthday extravaganza. Donald's progeny might even choose to revert to their original name of Drumpf!
