So I have now given them a listen - most of them sound very much like they could have ended up on AFM. Sound wise they are very far from Boomtown and much more familiar, to a sound between Bedtime stories and Triage, but decidedly in the alt country vein of the spectrum, if there is such a thing.I agree that the most promising (but sadly unfinished) is the one called "Cold Wind", which is very timely.
Also the track "Interesting (Times)" is something that lyrically would fit in the Triage realm, but would need a rework to fit in Triage's experimental style. The alternate take of "Swallowed By the Cracks" is cute - i actually think I prefer the music style of this version, however the vocals are much better (more biting/angry) in the album version, so its a toss up... ;-)Fun to have a karaoke version of "Rock for the Forgotten" - I might even put my own vocals on it just for fun... we'll see :-)
