I hate to think that our issue is we are idiots. Of course, we do have
plenty of people that are poorly informed and angry...and those two
things combined can lead to some stupid choices.
I don't understand how anybody could cast a vote for Donald Trump but
in
fairness I can't believe that people would vote for Hillary Clinton
either. I know many people are voting for Hillary in self-defense and
this I completely understand because it would be a pretty horrible thing
to have President Trump.
The fact that we emerged from the primary process with these two as
the
main candidates for POTUS is just a bit mind-blowing but the media gave
us the old hard sell on them and the Democrats fully went with the
Clinton thing while the Republicans got shanghaied by their own voters
and the media into Donald Trump.
So, here we are.
Funny that both Hillary and Donald are both all about claiming they
are
more Ronald Reagan-like than the other. Weird that the Democrats that
basically began this election cycle with their boot on the throat of the
Republican party and had a huge opportunity to move toward a more liberal
and progressive agenda...instead decided "Well, we'd rather be more like
Nixon and Reagan." and just had a nice giant shit on the liberal and
progressive members of their party.
I also can't really stomach the idea that the Clinton campaign has
decided to just flush all the younger voters, minority voters, and all
liberals and progressives down the Potomac and instead blatantly attempt
to win the election not by getting these people to vote for them but
instead making their strategy a hard sell to Republicans by saying "Hey,
we're more Republican than your candidate."
Which actually is true...but hideous.
The entire Bush family is voting for Hillary Clinton.
Really. That's not a joke.
Bill Clinton is out badmouthing "Obamacare."
Not a mistake. The Clinton's have made the turn and are racing toward
the
finish line...and it's Republican voters they are after not a guy like me
and certainly not the younger voters that are future of this country, and
certainly not minority voters who really should be as offended by the
Clintons as they are about Trump's asinine remarks.
Donald Trump seems to find a way to make himself more awful on a
daily
basis so I am back believing Hillary can't lose this thing.
Honestly, it is hard to believe that Donald actually wants to win
this
thing...he comes across like he wants to lose. If he has not found a way
to alienate, insult, or piss on whatever segment of the society you
belong to...just wait, he's working on it.
So, Hillary wins and yes, it will be in part because the media and
the
parties themselves did all they could to make sure the voters were as
poorly informed, confused, and angry as they could be.
All we win is Trump gets a different reality tv show to work rather
than
the White House...we still get a Republican president...but hey, at least
it is a female Republican, right?
