You guys know me as probably the last of the 4 musketeers in this echo
chamber. One of the ones that offers opposing viewsPeter, Your author Mr. Wong has it Wrong. He fancies himself as knowing something about what it really is like
living in a red state lol really? Illinois? The whole state is controlled
by Chicago and by design. New York same thing. If you are a farmer in
upstate new york your laws are dictated to you by politicians in NYC.
Same for Illinois. The reason I offer this objection is because I live in a swing state and
one that somewhat knows how to keep it's pants on and I raise livestock
and crops on acreage. And that is important to me.I live in a red rural county but spend a lot of my working time in two
cities one of which is NYC and so I have a lot of experience with city
thought too.I have no problem with folks that choose to be urban at all. What I DO
have a problem with however is when people like him think they get to
decide how what they would call "fly over country" has to behave. And getting back to Mr. Wrong that spent so much ink to just flat out say
it...it was full stop for me. But hey I am just a white male with
apparently some privilege that I should be ashamed of (I missed that bus
I think) and should be persecuted in his world nowadays for whatever
reason nowadays geez really? "And if you live in the red, that fucking sucks."Nice. Thank you Mr. Wrong. We love red. How about you grow your own food
from now on a-hole?
