Oh my! Where do I start?

First of all Reg I want to thank you for writing that response. One thing I've always liked about you is that you always respond with reasonable and well thought out ...well..thoughts. As wrong as I might think those thoughts are I'll use my 2nd amendment rights to protect your 1st amendment rights to say them.

It would appear though that Trump is living rent free in your and all of your friends in DC's minds and now everyone is losing their minds and going extreme left. Why? I don't know. Because somewhere, some how we have to meet in the middle to make this country work. You strike me as a common sense liberal minded individual that could do that.

Forgetting all of our differences, let's just start with basics and start with free speech. The 1st Ammendment right of every American (not DACA kids or "undocumented" aliens).

On the right (and I am nowhere near extreme far right) we watched in dismay when an openly gay white male (Milo) was pretty much run out of town in Berkely CA because he wanted to speak to the 3 kids on that campus that wanted to hear him.

Instead what erupted was pure and unadulterated violence against him (and the school UC)because they didn't want to even think about letting him speak. Those kids may be in college, but nobody ever taught them about the 1st ammendment or the constitution in general.

You are gleeful that Mueller indicted 13 russians for trying to influence our political elections as probable proof of collusion with Trump? Nothing could be further from the truth as far as collusion goes but you seem to be all board with that. Even though even Obama scolded Trump in Oct 2016 and told him to stop whining about rigged elections and just go out and speak your mind. Which he did...and won.

But now suddenly Obama was wrong? That in fact the russians did this? I voted for Trump but not because I know any russians (I don't) but because he was smarter than any body else on that side of the ticket. I originally voted Kasich in the primary because he has been a pretty good governor for my state and he won Ohio but that was the only state he won and I was very dissapointed in him for not even showing up at the RNC convention in Cleveland when Trump got the nomination. A LOT of Ohioans felt the same way as me.

During that time going into the final round Hillary was spending all of her time either napping or going to fund raisers on the east and left coasts with the only message being Obama 2.0 and with all of political experience and might to use at her will didn't even think about coming to Ohio, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin or Michigan. But Trump did and he did at least 5 giant rallys in Ohio alone in October and November. Pretty close to the same in the other states mentioned.

Nobody here was surprised that he was going to win and he wasn't even a politician and beat them at their own game. Certainly came as a shock to Hillary supporters though since CNN was saying he only had an 8% chance against her. And let's be honest...DC is a game. A game that needs to be fixed. Not for the government but for us as citizens.

Micheal Moore came to Ohio during that time (unlike Hillary) and although he was met with some resistance initially was allowed to do a speech in my birth town. What he had to say was pretty shocking actually because he saw the writing on the wall (almost savant like). He still hates Trump and everything he stands for but he at least knew that she was going to lose long before the MSM could even fathom it. But at least he had the the knowledge to acknowledge.

Let's just start there. and work together. I'll listen to you if you'll listen to me. Don't let Trump get under your skin because you have at the least 3 more years of him to deal with and I promise you that none of his supporters will tolerate him bringing anything but good things to you and those you love.
