Icon It's going to be a big meal...

Well, the Hannity aspect of this is really just an amuse-bouche for what is coming. Hannity or Cohen have already told a giant lie about their relationship...likely Hannity because he just lied on TV and radio which is a daily thing for him...but Cohen, if he lied about Hannity being a client did so in court. Hannity made sure to carefully word his statement saying that there is basically no paper trail that states he retained Cohen or paid him...which obviously does not mean he did not just that whatever Cohen did for him he did it as off the record as possible.

It is a rather giant thing that Hannity contacted Cohen and his attorneys immediately and asked that they under no circumstance disclose his name in open court...to fight this by going to appeal if the judge presses for his name. They did not fight it and just tossed Hannity under the bus and stated his name.

This does raise a big question as to why Hannity fought so hard to keep his name hidden, and why he lied about doing so, because there should be nothing embarrassing about consulting with an attorney and no reason being a client should be hidden...unless you are hiding a trail to something criminal or embarrassing. Particularly an attorney that on air Hannity called several times "a great attorney."

Comically, Cohen does not even practice law, is recognized as a total clown in New York legal circles, and has no area of expertise other than bag man for shady deals and to silence women from talking about sex with wealthy Republicans. Cohen only retains his status as a lawyer so he can claim attorney client privilege when he talks to criminals like Trump.

So, why would Hannity consult with this phony bag man on any legal matter? Why if Hannity thinks Cohen is a "great attorney" would he desperately hide the fact he consults him? Gee, I wonder...

However, Hannity not only tried to keep this from coming out in court but also hid it from FOX News while going on the air pretending to be an unbiased party...which makes FOX look like a joke, nothing new but this is just a giant confirmation of how little they think of their viewers which looks really bad. I mean if their viewers even understand how outrageous this is.

Needless to say if FOX News had any ethics whatsoever they would pull Hannity off the air but we know they don't so likely Hannity stays on the air acting as cheerleader and chairman of Trump's Ministry of Propaganda. Not to mention the fact that many things that Hannity spews come direct from the Kremlin, like the Seth Rich nonsense. Why does Hannity spew Kremlin dreck for a president that wants nothing to do with placing sanctions on Russia and regularly has meetings to consult with Trump?

It's a good question and completely disqualifies Hannity from being hired by anybody with even minimal ethics to use him as some sort of commentator but FOX keeps this jackass on the air. Remember, he's just an entertainer.

The entree that is about to be served up here is not Hannity, it will be spit roasted Cohen with a big fat apple in his mouth. They would never have raided him if they were not going to charge him. All they were doing with the raid was dotting some I's and crossing some T's or to keep in line with the theme here preparing a delicious au jus they will pour over the meat as they serve it up.

But the dessert to this massive meal will be one Donald J. Trump because they have at least 10 charges lined up the State of NY will hit Cohen with and Trump to his dismay can't pardon those. So, Cohen as he stares at 30 years or more in jail...probably 12 to 15 with good behavior minimum...will flip on Trump faster than Stormy Daniels can get out a magazine for a good spanking.

Checkmate.
