Just gutted with this news. Yes yes - rest in peace Andrea.

When I moved to Miami FL in the early-ish 00s - I realized I would be in Andrea's area. After settling in after the move I sent off an email to her and promptly got an invite for coffee and a Cuban. From there we struck up a friendship. For someone a thousand miles or so from home - Andrea was the motherly figure I needed. A very hip and acutely funny motherly figure. I was so fortunate that she gave me a home base away from home. But I'm pretty sure that's who she was - forthright, honest and extremely caring.

Andrea will be very sadly missed.
