Just started reading this novel the other day...when I picked it up, I didn't know much about the plot other than it was about a drug addict and the author is in prison.Well, if you want to read a gritty, sarcastic and bitingly humorous book, then give this one a trie. One way to describe it would be imagining if writer Charles Bukowski was sent to the war in Iraq as a twenty-year-old and wrote about it.
