1. Obviously, the Democrats have taken control of the House and now have full subpoena power and can restore the oversight function of Congress. This is wonderful and now the Democrats MUST do something now that they have regained control of one branch of government. Make your gains count and build momentum for 2020.

2. In several parts of the country it was proven that racism, bigotry, inciting violence, lies, and fear mongering actually work with Republican voters. This is a sad moment for our country but worse than that it means that Trump will expand upon this strategy and in those sections of the country where Republicans won last night elected Republicans will also embrace it. So, I know it is hard to imagine Trump telling even more lies and making up even more "caravan" nonsense when the guy at points was tracked telling a whopping 30 lies a day...but look out it is coming. Expect elected Republicans to fall in line and also embrace misinforming their voters and building hate and ignorance in them because the Trumpists now fully believe this can win for them in places like Florida, Texas, Indiana and the South.
