"In the grip of fear, the president's comments and actions these past few
days mortally betray any naive intent he may have had of fulfilling the
duties of the President of the United states, and must be impeached,
preferably by his own party."If the Republicans want to salvage anything of what their party once was
and stood for the Senate Republicans should grab the ball and move to
impeach here fairly soon. I think this would happen once we are in the
new year. They will wait until the new Democratic House is seated. It remains to be seen though if they will do this. Basically, everybody in Washington is now openly talking about
impeachment, Republicans and Democrats, and as more and more comes out
about guys like Manafort and Corsi pretending to cooperate while feeding
info back to Trump in hopes of landing pardons comes out...well...you
would have to be blind and deaf not to see how guilty Trump and these
guys are. This is really ugly. So, now we know that Team Trump was collecting information from Manafort
and Corsi to use to help Trump answer Mueller's questions. We also will likely have confirmed shortly if Manafort went to meet with
Julian Assange as he was accepting the invitation to join the Trump
campaign. It sure appears that he did, which will be really ugly for
Trump. Team Trump has now ceased saying the campaign did not collude with Russia
and now phrases it as Trump himself did not collude with Russia...again
not a good sign for Trump and certainly bad for anybody that was part of
his campaign. Manafort has apparently made the decision to die in jail, as his only
hope of that not happening is if Trump pardons him. Manafort's attorney
is now also likely to be brought up on charges and end up disbarred.
