Now, I am relatively new to streaming and channels like Netflix and Amazon Prime and find half the fun is the locating of little gems while avoiding the atrocious. Just found Red Oaks on Amazon Prime. It's like a blending of Freaks and Geeks and Caddyshack. Yes, it has its corny moments, but it's a mindless little nostalgia show of summers spent around a ritzy country club. I am amazed at how many good shows there are out there while at the same time there are so many terrible ones. Amazon's search features are really decent and is like pulling on a thread on a huge garment - when you find one show that looks good, you can select the "customers also watched" choice and go from there. What I like about Netflix is you can skip through show intros....
