I mean no offense here Heathclife, and it might be your age, but there is a VERY short step from what you have written and to voting for Trump. I bet a LOT of his voters have the exact same sentiments but draw a different conclusion than you have (I presume). Your sentences about people taking care of each other in the olden days, and how your wife stayed home with 5 kids until the youngest was 11, how the young people behave and a lot of other stuff really rubs me the wrong way and I'm 52... As long as more people in the US don't stand up and actually do something to change the way things are at the moment, then nothing is going to change.
