This is a cool question...
'Round Midnight- Dexter Gordon is amazing in this and so is the music. It's full of great jazz musicians and is overall just a beautiful film.
32 Short Films About Glenn Gould- Another film with an incredible performance at the heart of it. Gould was an interesting character and this is one hell of an approach to tackling his story.
I know I'm not supposed to be throwing this kind of film in but lately I really loved...
I'm Trying To Break Your Heart- The doc about the making of Wilco's "Yankee Hotel Foxtrot". It's a great record and this is a great film about it's making.
