I've long recognized the Tony Soprano/Mussolini fixation, but the stand-up comic thing didn't really register with me until recently. More evidence of the infantilization of large segments of America. What a seriously unserious people we've become. Or perhaps we never really were the fully formed adults that I had thought we were.
