Currently, I am listening to a massive, SxSW 2020 playlist over and Spotify and while listening to songs of artists (and from other playlists of new artists), I have to ask - what the fuck is this proliferation of singers singing in what I call a "baby-talk" voice that is going on? 

I get that imitation is supposed to be a sincere form of flattery, but Jesus, who is teaching these kids to copy this style left and right??
