I'm sorry to sat but I do think you had a "normal" flu or cold... - As far as I've heard, this years flu vaccine was not the one that actually did the rounds this year... Happens frequently, since it is largely a game of hit and miss with the seasonal flu vaccine. As many have stated, a fever spike is pretty much a prerequisite for Covid-19, if one is susceptible to it at all, which is why all the docs ask about that first and foremost. It is a consequence of the cytokine storm as they call it when our immune system goes into overdrive. If you don't get a fever you either don't have it or are not not going to get it.
Reg's symptoms on the other hand sounds more like the real deal ;-)
