Points well taken, Reg, and especially with respect to Bon Jovi. You lose credibility with me in all areas when you admit to liking their music. On the other hand, JBJ is a big time Democrat so when these folks are rubbing elbows during the pre and post-game festivities,  how do they avoid the elephant/donkey in the room? 

You'll remember that Kraft's late wife, Myra, a thoroughly decent, generous, and civic-minded woman, was quite liberal. Once she passed, Bob seemed to really cut loose with very young women, and of course, the notorious Florida massage parlor incidents. It's easy to see how football fans most everywhere absolutely loathe the Pats. 

There's some speculation that the Patriots could sign Colin Kaepernick. Now THAT would get me rooting for them (from a distance). And it would be a real quandary for my Republican family members who worship at the feet of Tom Brady. They couldn't abide all that disgraceful kneeling during the national anthem. Some in Patriot nation surely think it's only acceptable to take a knee when it's done by a Minneapolis cop!
