Well the BBC surely have shot themselves in the foot today, by yanking an episode of Fawlty Towers, where the old Major spouts some racist shit, from their streaming service.
I know this does not sound like a big story, but in just 20 hours this has lead to heated discussions in several national danish media. Fawlty Towers is also here a much beloved 12 episode sitcom that John Cleese wrote and starred in in the mid 1970ies - it is shown pretty much every year at some national channel and I can tell you, we are PISSED. The show represents the ultimate example in the kind of humor that we have in common with the British.
