hadn't thought about them like that but you are spot on with that analysis i think. Michael Palin's a darling of the BBC though and did some wonderful travel series especially about the Himalayas...so his redemption seems more completed than John Cleese. Cleese i think spends lots of time in exile so isn't really entitled to offer much of relevance to 2020 Britain. the ground beneath our feet is moving so much i'd feel safer on a viking longboat right now. ;-)
