I love his dispassionate analysis and utter fearlessness to engage in topics that most public intellectuals are unwilling to touch. On most issues, he's solidly a liberal Democrat but he routinely infuriates the far left (and perhaps sometimes, the not-so-far left). And no one rails against Trump like Sam! Here he explores the intersection of many related topics including BLM, income and wealth inequality, the history and psychological effects of racism in America, the abundance of firearms and its effect on the mindset of cops, the training of police, the incentives for media and social media to behave poorly, and much more. Because he's known for his frequent and powerful criticism of radical Islam (and to a lesser degree, all religions), Sam has spent a lot of time training for violence and studying the psychology of it. This podcast is jam-packed with data that contradicts the narrative of many BLM protestors. I think it's an extremely balanced analysis of where America is, but I'm admittedly biased. I'd love EEE to share his thoughts. I've listened twice and will probably do so again. Lots to chew on and it's sure to piss off many, but you have to pursue the truth.
And he fears that Trump may well emerge as the beneficiary of all these matters!
