As much as I rant at Trump, his followers, and enablers, in general, I think I my understanding of how little free will we all have has allowed me to be, err, somewhat more forgiving than I would otherwise have been. And I extend that forgiveness to myself as well. That's not to say that people shouldn't be held accountable but hell, look at what Trump's niece says about his horrible upbringing and how Fred Sr.  at some level traumatized and warped the values of little Don. Had Trump been raised by a psychologically normal parent, he would undoubtedly be a more decent person, and the world would be immeasurably better for it. Then again, he wouldn't have displayed the cruelty and vulgarity that allowed him to win the presidency.
