It seems like each day acts occur that really bring worry into the future of this country.  For about the last three weeks I have been watching the nightly news after a long time of not watching broadcast news and it seems each day brings more decay.

For one thing, the nightly newscast segments truly have fallen into McNugget sections of news, with the most important pieces garnishing as much attention as the attention-grabbing bullshit ones.

I know the old saying about news is true - "if it bleeds, it leads," but come on. 

I mean, how in the world can "news" fail again and again?  And I refuse to watch anything on Fox because it truly is a Trump propaganda vehicle.  I mean, even on the internet there was no mention of Trump publicizing truly fake information from the Lab coat Covid-19 parade with the lady harking demon semen.

Then, how the fuck can the media let Trump off the hook for the Russian bounties, his ignoring of John Lewis' death, his Covid-19 failures, and race relations?

News is becoming so brief in its attention-grabbing flashes that people are being allowed to move on too quickly. 

What we need is a true, truth to power titan like Walter Cronkite again. Someone that is able to do to Trump what Cronkite did to Vietnam and cut through all this devasting bullshit.
