Given that we live in a country where some people think the Sandy Hook Massacre was staged, where Pizzagate occurred, where QNnon has emerged, where Alex Jones thrives,  the threats against Anthony Fauci and his family shouldn't come as a surprise. Trump and the entire GOP leadership (perhaps leadership is a misnomer when applied to them) should stand together and powerfully defend this man and his family. They must call out the creeps among them who traffic in this dangerous conspiracy bullshit and say enough is enough. I guess that would mean that they turn the microscope on themselves and issue a collective mea culpa. Somehow I think only crickets will be heard!
