The first video with the split screen was pretty powerful. He more or less makes the case for expanding the court. The idea that one person dying should create such a power/ideological shift could be remedied with adding 12-15 more justices. That and justice term limits. It's inconceivable that public opinion should be flouted so easily as Senator Whitehouse illustrates with the ACA, gay marriage, and abortion. All are supported by majorities of the American public.
I think his presentation illustrated something else - something I think you, Reg, are alluding to. The above hot button topics obscure the true crimes here - the whittling away of basic constitutional rights. I was particularly interested in the jury topic. I will have to spend some time learning more about that one.
